If you want to hide the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option when a particular discount code is applied, follow the steps below to set it up using GoKwik's Shipping/Payment Rule feature.


Key Points to Remember

  • The discount code must be created in Shopify, not in the GoKwik dashboard.

  • Ensure that the discount is set as "Amount off order" (in Shopify).

  • Discount codes created in the GoKwik dashboard are based on "Amount off product", and we currently do not support hiding COD payment methods for such discount types.

Steps to Create the Shipping/Payment Rule

To hide COD for specific discount codes, you can configure a custom Payment Rule in your GoKwik dashboard. Follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to GoKwik Dashboard

  • Go to Kwik Checkout from the side navigation bar.

2. Navigate to COD Settings

  • Click on Settings > COD Features > Shipping/Payment Rule

3. Create a New Rule

  • Click on Add a New Rule

  • Select Payment Rule from the options

4. Apply the Condition

  • Under the IF condition, select:
     Cart contains discount → True

5. Define the THEN Condition

  • Under the THEN condition, select:
     Hide Specific Payment Methods

  • In the field that appears, type:
     GoKwik Cash on Delivery

This will ensure that COD is hidden whenever a discount code is applied.


 Optional: Hide Prepaid Instead of COD

If you'd like to hide prepaid methods instead of COD, follow the same steps but choose the relevant prepaid method (like UPI, Cards, etc.) in the THEN condition instead.
